Abdominal Pain by Gastroduodenal perforation
Gastroduodenal perforation as the part of gastrointestinal perforation is a medical emergency in which the part of gastroduodenal wall (stomach and the first portion of small intestine) is a completely perforated, resulting in intestinal contents flowing into the abdominal cavity. It occurs in people with the history peptic ulcer, and is more in men.
Symptoms include the sudden abdominal pain in the upper/middle abdomen, board-like rigidity of abdomen, tenderness, and rebound tenderness, which are intensified by movement, nausea, vomiting. The pain may travel to shoulder or back or lower abdomen.
