Abdominal Pain by Intestinal Perforation
Intestinal perforation is a medical emergency in which the part of intestinal wall (small or large intestines) is a completely perforated, resulting in intestinal contents flowing into the abdominal cavity.
Symptoms include the sudden abdominal pain in the whole abdomen, board-like rigidity of abdomen, tenderness, and rebound tenderness, which are intensified by movement, nausea, vomiting. The pain may travel to shoulder or back or lower abdomen.
