Cough by Pertussis (whooping cough)
Pertussis, also known as whooping cough or 100 day cough, is a bacterial infection of the respiratory tracts by bordetella pertussis. Among populations, it occurs more in children.
Symptoms look like the cold with sore throat, runny nose, nasal congestion, watery eyes, and fever. As it progresses, there is continuous paroxysmal coughing or whooping cough with sputum, which may result in vomiting.
