Dyspnea by Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

The function of the lung is to transfer oxygen into the blood or the body. Medical conditions that prevent the lung does it job is collectively called chronic obstructive pulmonary (lung) disease (COPD). The causes of COPD include smoking, pollution, asthma, and family genetics, which lead to chronic bronchitis and COPD.

Symptoms commonly include chronic coughing, sputum, wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness, shallow breathing. The dyspnea is the exhale dyspnea, and getting worse in exercise. As these symptoms worsen over the time, there is cyanosis in fingers/lips/cheeks, and clubbing fingers in which nails curve down more than normal around fingertips.
