Abdominal Mass by Neuroblastoma
Neuroblastoma is a cancer that is seen more in young children. It is mostly found in the adrenal glands that are located on the top of the kidneys, but is also found in the other part of the body such as chest, neck and pelvis.
Symptoms include a mass at the upper right and left of abdomen the kidney area, and continuous abdominal pain. If tumor location is chest, it may cause chest pain and breathing problem. Other symptoms include lumps of tissue under the skin, low grade fever, and weight loss. As it progresses, neuroblastoma releases the hormone such as adrenaline from the adrenal gland that increase the heartbeats, blood pressure, and sweating.
