The urethra is the tube that connects the bladder passing urine to outside the body. Urethritis is the bacterial infection of the urethra. The common symptoms are urgent/frequent/difficulty urination. There may be blood in the urine, and clear or milky discharge from urethra opening. As it progresses, there is swelling or tender penis in men.
