Urine Color Changes by Bladder Diseases

Bladder Diseases

The bladder is a sac-like organ in the body to collect and to store urine. Bladder disorders such as inflammation, infection, and cancer may cause the urinary bleeding. Because the blood is mixed with urine in the bladder, urine color changes to dark red or brown throughout entire urination. Heavy bleeding in the bladder may cause blood clot formation, which lead to blood clot in the urine.

Please see your doctor for diagnosis and treatments when you see blood in the urine or experience pain when urinating.
