Metastasis or metastatic cancer is the spread of a cancer from the part it started to other part of the body. Metastasis can travel through the lymph system or lymph nodes causing the inflammation of lymph nodes or the enlargement of the lymph nodes. If the lymph nodes in the neck are affected, there will be single or multiple swelling nodes around the neck. Please go to see your doctor for diagnosis and treatments if there is the swelling lymph node with or without other signs of illness.
