Limb Pain by Paronychia

Onychia or Paronychia

This is an infection of the nail folds (where the nail and skin meet) that surrounds a fingernail and toenail, and may be caused by an injury to the skin.

Symptoms typically include the signs of skin infection such as tenderness and redness skin around the nail. Pus may present.

It usually heals by proper hygiene. Please go to see a doctor if it lasts more than a week, or cause finger or toe swollen.
