Neck Mass by Enlarged Thyroid or Goiter

Enlarged thyroid or goiter can be caused by multiple conditions, which cause hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism. Thyroid is located at the front midline of the neck. The enlarge thyroid can be tender but does not move with the swallowing.
