Nail Disease by Nail Injury/Trauma

Nail Injury/Trauma Accidental injury to a nail arises from cutting, tearing, biting or impact forces on fingers or toe. Symptoms typically include nail bruise, nail splitting, or the loss of the nail. Sometimes, the shape and texture of the nail may change during or after the healing, which lead to nail deformity. Nail may become thickened or discolored. There may be little white lines or spots, grow horizontal grooves or vertical ridges across the nail.
