Nausea & Vomiting by Pyloric Stenosis
Pyloric stenosis is the medical condition in which the stomach pylorus, the opening to the small intestine, is narrowed or obstructed preventing food from entering the rest of GI tract. It occurs more often in male infants.
The typical symptom is the forceful projectile vomiting duo the pylorus obstruction, and infant colic due to the abdominal pain. Since food/milk cannot pass through into the rest of GI system, there may be signs of dehydration, little bowel movement or urination, and hunger.
Please go to see your doctor for diagnosis and treatments if you or your baby has above symptoms.
