Abdominal Pain by Stomach Cancer

The stomach cancer or gastric cancer is the cancer in the lining of the stomach, a muscle sac-like organ that stores foods and is located in the upper right or upper middle of the abdomen just below the lower ribs. Although the stomach is the part of GI system, the cancer, at the early stage, doesn’t cause specific GI symptoms until it is at the advanced stage. The stomach cancer occurs more in age > 50.

As it progresses, there may be palpable mass at the stomach area. Other symptoms include weight loss, blood in the vomiting or in the stool.
