Chest Pain by Chest Muscle Strain or Rib Cage

Chest pain can be the part of rib cage pain that often caused by the chest muscle strain or rib joint inflammation (costochondritis).  There is tenderness, swelling or pain when affected areas are touched. There may be sharp pain upon breathing and coughing. The pain becomes apparent when doing heavy activity and when moving into a certain position.
