Nausea & Vomiting by Acute Appendicitis

Acute Appendicitis

Appendicitis is an inflammation of the appendix that a blind-ended slender tube taping from the large intestine or colon. The appendix is located on lower right side of the abdomen. Although its function is not known in the GI system, acute appendicitis causes typical GI reactions. Acute appendicitis occurs more in male young adult.

Symptoms typically are pain, vomiting and fever. Abdominal pain usually begins at or around the belly button.  As acute appendicitis progresses, the pain location is shifted, in a couple hours or a day, to the lower right side of the abdomen where appendix is located.  Other symptoms include abdominal pressing pain, bloating, and fever.

If there are above symptoms, please go to see your doctor for diagnosis and treatment.
