Hematemesis (Vomiting blood) by Stomach Cancer

Stomach cancer or gastric cancer causes the bleeding and vomiting blood when the tumor grows large or is at the advanced stage. It occurs more in the elderly.

At the early stage, the symptoms are not apparent but may include weight loss, nausea, and appetite change. As it progresses, there are upper abdominal pain that is progressively painful, persistent heartburn, and vomiting, along with other signs/symptoms such as bloating stomach and enlarged lymph nodes. There may be hematemesis (vomiting blood) or melena (the dark blood stools) when the bleeding is continuous.

Please to go see your doctor for diagnosis and treatments if there are above symptoms, or any sign that concern you.
