Bloating by Bowel Obstruction

Bowel Obstruction

This is the condition in which the intestines of the GI tract are obstructed by intestinal adhesions, hernias, or twisting, which prevents food or liquid from passing through.  Abdominal inflammation, surgery, and tumor are possible causes of the obstruction.

Symptoms include abdominal pain (cramping), nausea, vomiting. As it progresses, there are bowel bloating or distention (swelling of the abdomen), constipation, and inability to pass gas.

Please go to see your doctor as quickly as possible when you have above symptoms.
