Colon Polyps

Colon polyps are small tissue lump growing inside of the colon that is the part of GI system and located in the middle and lower part of abdomen.  The polyps are seen more in older age > 50 years old becoming vulnerable to inflammation and bleeding.

Colon polyps don’t have signs of symptom until they grow large or are inflamed causing. Symptoms then include blood in stool (dark colored stool), abdominal pain, and changes in bowel habits including constipation and diarrhea. The chronic bleeding may cause anemia such as iron deficiency anemia.

Please go to see your doctor for diagnosis and treatments if there are above symptoms, or any sign that concern you.
