The abdominal aorta is the major blood vessel (artery) that runs through abdomen and supplies blood to the organs in the abdomen as well as to the pelvis and legs. Aneurysm in abdominal aorta is the enlargement of abdominal aorta, which occur more in older men.

Symptoms include the presentation of a pulsatile abdominal mass or a pulsating feeling around the bellybutton, deep constant abdominal pain (upper/middle abdomen).
