Body Pain by Spinal Disc Herniation

Spinal Disc Herniation

This is a spine problem in which one of spinal disks that cushions between bones or vertebrae bulge out (herniation). The herniation can induce the inflammation and cause pain by pressing nerves.  It is often called a slipped disk or herniated disk, and is often associated with age > 60 and women.

Symptoms often include lower back pain or numbness, but can be arm/shoulder pain when the herniated disk is in the neck.

Treatments: If you have lower back/leg pain (or neck/arm pain) with numbness, please go to see your doctor for diagnosis and treatment.
