Hives

Hives, also known as urticaria, are welts on the skin. It is an allergic skin reaction that can be caused by many factors: food, medications, pollen, dust, or climate change.  

Symptoms typically include welts or red skin rash that vary in size from small dots to large patches, which can appear on any parts of the body. The welts are bumpy or swollen, and often itchy.

Treatment: Hives usually go away in a day or two. Please go to see your doctor if hives persist.
