Hypotension, low blood pressure, is the opposite of hypertension. People may have hypotension when systolic blood pressure is less than 90 mmHg or diastolic less than 60 mmHg. Symptoms generally include dizziness and fainting. The causes of hypotension can range from cardiovascular, endocrine and neurological problems.
